Ravi Agarwal is an experienced adviser whose key objective is to assist medical professionals throughout Australia to make smart, financial and business decisions to allow them to achieve their life goals and dreams.

In 2010, Ravi established MEDIQ Financial Services, a premier Financial Planning, Accounting, Investment, Insurance, Legal & Finance practice for medical professionals and their families. The business has grown organically to a team of 35, serving clients nationally.

Ravi has been recognised by the Association of Financial Advisers with the 2013 AFA Rising Star award, in recognition for his excellence in the advice industry and outstanding commitment to his clients, their community and the Medical Profession. He was also awarded ‘Multi-service Practitioner of the Year’ in 2015 and ‘Practice Principal of the Year’ in both 2014 and 2015 in the ifa Excellence Awards.

In 2017 – MEDIQ, under the leadership of Ravi, was awarded the AFA Practice of the Year – the highest accolade available for a practice in the financial advice profession.

Niluka is a director in the Accounting & Taxation team with over 16 years exposure in public practice specialising in private clients and small and medium businesses. Her career began with the Big Four accounting firms developing a passion to help clients optimise their tax position. With a keen eye for detail she provides strategic tax advice and planning to various businesses and their associates.

David may be the youngest member of the MEDIQ team but he makes up for that with plenty of bite, After finishing his training with MEDIQ he now assists Karl with all aspects of the accounting and taxation world while studying for his CPA.

Living in Bendigo, David enjoys computer gaming, country living and has been a volunteer firefighter for the previous 10 years.

With a wealth of experience and knowledge in the accounting industry, As Senior Director, Karl leads the Accounting and Taxation Division at MEDIQ Medical Financial Services. Karl previously owned an accounting firm in Perth, before selling his practice and moving interstate to Melbourne.

Today, as a strategist at heart, a passion for technology and with an entrepreneurial spirit, Karl provides a proactive service, which he tailors to client’s individual needs. Utilising his many years of experience, he develops strategies that drive and enhance business performance to deliver superior outcomes for the stakeholders. During his 16 years in the property industry David has worked as a property valuer and property adviser to private clients, financial planners, accountants, finance brokers, major banks and governments. He has been involved in more than $500M worth of transactions across Victoria, New South Wales, South Australia & Queensland.

Since 2009, David has been specifically focused on helping medical professionals, expats, business owners and busy executives build effective property portfolios.

Sabina Mehra

Sabina was admitted to practice in 2004 and has over 12 years of experience in commercial law and litigation. She is the in-house solicitor for MEDIQ, and solicitor-director of MEDIQ Pty Ltd. Sabina is focussed on providing MEDIQ clients with specialised legal advice and assisting them with their legal needs. Her areas of practice include Estate Planning, Deceased Estates and Probate, Conveyancing, Commercial and Insurance litigation, preparing Agreements, deeds, and other Commercial and Business related documents.

Sam Roberts

Sam has led intranet and cloud technology transformations since 1997 within companies both large and small. At Sprint, he supervised the support and operations of 20 content management systems, serving 43,000 users and 19 million hits per month. He enjoys transforming business environments into digital workplaces that are highly secure and collaborative. He has served as Director of a Project Management Office (PMO), Director of an on-site Data Center, and is certified in UNIX and ITIL. With degrees in Organizational Information Systems and Organizational Administration, his focus is performance improvement and organizational transformation through people, process, and technology.

Jessica has had 5 years’ experience working within the finance industry in both New Zealand and Melbourne. Most recently before commencing with MEDIQ, she worked as an assistant to a mortgage broker. Jessica brings to MEDIQ a wide range of administration knowledge along with excellent customer service skills. She loves working with people and prides herself on ensuring the clients experience with MEDIQ is the best possible.
