Ravi Agarwal is an experienced adviser whose key objective is to assist medical professionals throughout Australia to make smart, financial and business decisions to allow them to achieve their life goals and dreams.

In 2010, Ravi established MEDIQ Financial Services, a premier Financial Planning, Accounting, Investment, Insurance, Legal & Finance practice for medical professionals and their families. The business has grown organically to a team of 35, serving clients nationally.

Ravi has been recognised by the Association of Financial Advisers with the 2013 AFA Rising Star award, in recognition for his excellence in the advice industry and outstanding commitment to his clients, their community and the Medical Profession. Max Moodley is the founder of what is now the Sydney arm of the firm. From a standing start the practise grew to accommodate a large number of clients, predominantly medical specialists. The focus has been on holistic advice for time poor professionals in this field. Tax planning and proper structuring has always been a key motivation. He has over 20 years of experience in the provision of financial and tax advice.

Mina Andrawis

Partner - Wealth & Legal

Mina graduated with a double degree in Bachelor of Commerce/Law with majors in Finance and Financial Planning. He started his career with the NAB legal team then worked his way through the property and banking and finance division of mid-tier law firm Gadens Lawyers. Mina has over ten years of experience in servicing doctors and understands the intricacies surrounding legal and financial matters specifically for doctors.

Commercially-minded and practical, Mina is highly valued for his technical knowledge and practical approach to commercial negotiations and is praised by clients for his ability to provide simple advice on complex matters.

Paul Pun

Partner - Accounting & Taxation

Paul’s strategic approach and passion for the people he works with enables him to deliver a vital role that encompasses a holistic view of clients’ needs. Acting as a strategic business partner, Paul supports clients by highlighting and dealing with potential issues to best achieve desired outcomes. With an ability to solve complex financial problems and deliver solutions in an easy-to-understand format, Paul is regularly engaged to assist clients with:

Herbert Mai

Director - Lending and Finance

Herbert Mai is an experienced credit and finance adviser with over 12 years experience in residential and commercial property finance.

He graduated the University of Melbourne with a Bachelor of Urban planning and Development, and combined these skills with property finance over 12 years with the Westpac Group.

Along the way he also received his Diploma in Financial Planning.

With an understanding of both the growth of the Australian property market and Banking credit requirements, he is able to assist clients over the short and long term in achieving financial goals based around the acquisition of property and helping them find the right finance for all circumstances.

He looks to tailor specific solutions for each client, as he understands every client is in a different unique situation.

Danielle Podolak

Dani completed a Bachelor of Business(Property) and has practiced as a Registered Valuer. During this time she specialised in mortgage work for various financial institutions for both residential and commercial properties.
Recently at the Westpac Group she enhanced her client relationship focus and her role allowed her to further develop an understanding of banking requirements, whilst also managing client on boarding and various transactions.
Dani enjoys supporting clients to ensure their interactions run efficiently and smoothly.
While away from the office she loves her garden, travelling, and spending time with family and friends.

Margaret Patrick

Senior Associate

Margaret graduated with a Master of Laws (Juris Doctor) degree from Monash University and was admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of Victoria in June 2017. She has since developed her legal career in corporate and commercial law in large mid-tier firms (HWL Ebsworth) as well as boutique firms (Nicholson Ryan Lawyers) before joining MEDIQ Legal.

Margaret aims to provide practical and tailored solutions to clients which are informed by a deep understanding of a client’s business and circumstances.

When Margaret is not working, she is thoroughly and happily consumed with family life and in particular, all things involving her toddler.

This includes highly structured and complex arrangements involving companies, trusts, partnerships and super funds.

William Ma

With 15 years of experience as a tax advisor, William has a wealth of experience advising medical professionals and practices in all aspects of accounting and tax, including the acquisition and sale of medical practices, as well as setting up greenfield sites. He enjoys guiding his clients across the myriad of structuring options and creating comprehensive group tax strategies.

Adrian Do


Adrian has a Bachelor of Commerce – Professional Accounting and has partially completed the CPA program. He has a good all-round grounding in various aspects of accounting and taxation. He is also currently developing further experience in the administration of SMSFs.

Lynn Bosman

After being an Associate in town planning for many years, Lynn decided on a career change and moved into the world of accounting and tax.

With her solid client services background, Lynn enjoys building and maintaining client relationships. In addition to being the client liaision for ATO matters, Lynn also heads up our ASIC Compliance Management department. In her spare time, Lynn enjoys relaxing with friends and family whilst exploring the city of Melbourne and surrounding areas.
